Hey guys, does anyone currently own a msi k8n neo4 platinum mobo (socket 939 nforce4 chipset) and installed a 8800gt/3870 without any problems? The reason Im asking is because alot of people are reporting incompatibilities with pci-e 1.0 slots. Some mobos with 1.0 slots work, others do not. Thanks!

PCIe 1.0 slots work with the PCIe 2.0 video cards. They are backwards compatible.

Yes I know that. Go read the asus and evga forums. People with pci 1.0 motherboards are having problems while 1.1 and 2.0 slots are not
