Hello All,

The time has come and I’m looking for your opinions again – Thanks in advance.

I’m looking to upgrade my hard drives and looking for suggestions. I’m not interested in huge space, but more importantly (for me) is the speed of the hard drive.

I currently own two Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS (320 GB) and wanted to see if there is something better out there at a good price. Currently this part of my hardware is the lowest (5.6).

Also, if I want to do RAID0, will that increase performance by a good margin? (10%? 30%?)

Velociraptor is your best bed for speed, unless you want to deal which very very expensive SCSI drives...which you don't.
