Hey,
for my new computer I am going to be buying an 8800GT. I was wondering, what are the differences between these companies? And which would you go for?

MSI
XpertVision
Inno3D
Evga
Leadtek
Galaxy
ASUS
XFX

Thanks,

Cris.

Really the only reason that people are choosing those companies is because they offer OCer friendly warranties -- lasting for the life time of the card(double in the case of XFX) and a step up program for eVGA. The quality between the cards aren't really different, but some of them do offer factory OCed cards.

Personally, I took the plunge and got a galaxy card. Will I regret this decision? Probably not. If you are really a computer enthusiast...you never really keep a GPU for more than 1 year anyways(the warranty period the most companies offer).

Only time will tell.

EVGA - Step up program
XFX - Great warranty ( & reliable. I've used them for years no problem)
Zotac - Fastest Factory o/clock.

Otherwise you can check which offers the greatest freebies; In the 8800GT case Asus offers Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts (Great RTS, and only 2 months old)
