Hello, I didn't want to start a new thread but every system on here has something different. Any help is appreciated.

The total with everything aside from the OS comes to 1309 or thereabouts. Don't want to get much more expensive then that. Mouse, keyboard, speakers, and another Sony cd/dvd drive are included in my total but I didn't post the link. Computer will be used for gaming, photoshop, and perhaps 3d applications like 3ds max and maya.

Is there anything I am missing? Compatibility issues?

Thanks a ton, just don't want to screw anything up on my first build. I am fairly knowledgeable with computers, just never done a build.

Ok, I'll go with one of the Corsairs. Thanks for the recommendation. Everything else seems good? No extra cables I need? I think I need some for the HD.

Just seems like I am missing something. Didn't think I could get a computer this good for this cheap, things have changed in the last 6 years!

Good deal, all set there then. Last question is about monitors. I know there is an LCD section but it doesn't seem to get as much traffic and I don't want to start another thread. Between these two, which is going to be better as far as sharpness, contrast, and color? I play games and I don't think either of them have ghosting issues but if there is let me know please. Also halos around text would be pretty annoying. Both have some great reviews and some ok reviews, trying to find a great 20+ inch lcd monitor.

I have always liked HP monitors but not their price. LG always makes a good box it seems.

My best advice on monitors, is the same as keyboard and mice. Go to a store, and try them out in person. In the case of monitors, the one you eyes likes best is the one to buy. You will be staring at it for a long time hopefully. You can still buy it on-line, of course, to save money. If you buy on-line be sure to save the original box and packing just in case of a return. They are a bitch to ship back otherwise.
