installed mandriva on a 2nd partition decided I din't like it. I removed it by using the vista installer DVD and just deleting all the mandriva partitions. Did the command prompt to have vista as the primary boot device. After a reboot I only see my windows partition. My 500gig drive is partitioned 400 for vista 100 for a linux distro of some sort. How do I get it so vista sees my other 100 gig partition.
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management. You should see all of your partitions here. You can reformat, Change drive letter, delete partitions. Make a back-up before pushing the "its too late to change your mind button".
If you have multi partitions especially one little one after "C" that you cant get rid of then you will have to use something like Partition Magic.
Edit:
You wont ever see all of your 500GB because some is reserved.
