that processor is rather old now....there's really nothing you can do to make it faster aside from buying a new laptop.

Slow compared to what? Was it running faster b4 and then it became slow? In what ways is it slow? Booting up? Web browsing? Trying to play games? What does your Windows Performance Index show? How full is your HDD C: Drive? Did you try to delete unneeded files and run a HDD defrag?
