can't connect dvdrom to 750i mobo

I'm trying to use my old dvd rom from my old computer, and I don't understand where on my 750i it needs to connect into. The manual for the mobo doesn't even mention a cd drive or provide a cable for it.

nevermind i think i got it, i just have to use the ide connector.
