psu on new rig

Will my older silverstone 650watt pci PSU be ok for this rig:

Intel Q6600 quadcore cpu
Nvidia 8800 ultra
ASUS P5W- DH Deluxe
150gig Western Digital Raptor

If you are asking if it will have enough watts, yes. If you are asking if silverstone is a company that makes high quality PSUs, I don't think so.

Silverstone makes top of the line PSUs, so don't worry about the one posters comments.

Additionally, the 650w PSU is far more than you need.
Upper 400s to Low 500s would be a comfortable number so long as it was a quality PSU such as Corsair/PCPower&Cooling/etc...

Even assuming your PSU has lost some power over the years, it's still more than fine.

That PSU will be fine. Maybe aadamszc has had a sad experience with a Silverstone PSU, I don't know, but in general these PSUs are very well regarded.

Do you already have the 8800 Ultra and the P5W-DH? If not, there are better choices out there, for example 8800GTX and P5N32-E SLI Plus.
