Hi ,
I've got a problem with my new Pc-Setup !
The Pc doesn't start , it makes nothing ! :fou:

This is my Setup
Intel Q6600 4x 2,4 Ghz
Gigabyte X38-DQ6
OCZ Platinium DDR2-800 2x 2GB Dual
XFX Geforce GTX 768 Mb
Chieftech Netzteil

Has somebody an idea ?!
Sry for the bad english , i'm a German teenager ^^

bel, no, that's the X38T-DQ6, the X38-DQ6 is DDR2.

To Swordf1sh, if nothing spins or beeps or you don't even see little LED lights come up on the motherboard after you turn on the PSU (power suppy), then there might be a problem. If fans etc do spin up then there might be a gazillion areas that might be wrong, and you'll probably have to test every component separately.

nothing spins !
i've got the zalman CNPS9700 and it doesn't spin !
I've tested the Chieftech Netzteil and than the other two fans in the tower spins , because i thought that it might be a problem with the power ..!
But the Chieftech works !

this could be .. mh !
I will take it apart and put it together again ..!
Probably the screws of the CPU fan shorts against the case .. !

I don't know if that could be the reason. Take the motherboard out of the case, try starting it up on a piece of cardboard. The motherboard's box will work fine.

Make sure your case's power button is correctly hooked up to the pins on your motherboard. I had the same problem when I built my computer.
