I have a number of ISG camera's connected to a PC via 2 Firewire cards.
The camera's are working OK but I'm confused as to why these camera's are not listed as "Imaging Devices" in the device manager window?
In fact their is no "Imaging Devices" section shown in the device manager?

Can anyone help enlighten me

Many Thanks
Tony

The camera is using an XP system driver much like a flash drive uses USB. A flash drive does not intall into the system's Device Manager with any 'special' driver software. It uses the system driver and doesn't need to be installed into Dervice Manager. No special hardware driver is being installed into Device manager when using a camera via Firewire port. The Camera uses the system firewire driver or USB driver if that is the case. Double Click on My Computer and the Camera should show up there. You can open the files and properties there.
