No Logon Server Available to service logon request.

December 21, 2012 8:02:18 PM

I'm working through the MCTS Exam 70-448 Training Kit book. 2008 Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance.

I'm trying to deploy a cube I've created.

I get this error:

Error 5 The following system error occurred: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. 0 0

I'm logged in as admin. I've given myself all roles for every.

I've created a role for myself on the Analysis Server in SSMS.

I've connected to the Analysis Server.

I started the Analysis Server service by hand in Services.

I changed the server name from "localhost" to what it actually is.

I set the impersonation info to my login.

All of those have incrementally gotten me further, but now I get the no logon thing. I can't find anything in Services that looks like "Logon Server".

I read on suggestion to change the Provider from default to OLE DB. Can't find where to do that.

Any help with this?
