help me! I got P4 2.26 Computer, 1gb memory and 80gb Hard Drive.
i tried to reformat my Hard drive.. after Formatting and copying it will restart, then after restarting, it wont boot on hard drive, i tried to reformat the 80gb on my other computer, it works. then after that, i return that 80gb on its own cpu. when i boot it up,it will hang ... it will not boot on windows, i tried to reformat it again, then i found out that it only detect 7gb out of my 8ogb hard drive.. can some one help me... thanks...

If you reformat your hard drive it wipes all the data, so you would lose your OS, so of course it won't boot! If you want to re-install windows, you do it from system CD. If the install program only sees 7GB, you have a problem. Run manufacturers diagnostic and RMA if faulty and still under warranty. Many drives have 3 - 5 year warranty from manufacturer.
