TV output question concerning Windows...

Hey guys, I have a question. Windows has a feature to allow you to output your computer to your HDTV right? (Via HDMI). But I'm building my new PC in a few months and was wondering if I was to connect my PC to my HDTV via HDMI, would it output to the TV during things like the BIOS and Windows setup? Or only if I tell ti to via Windows?

I'm asking because I don't have a monitor so I thought I could use my TV instead.

  1. hi, yes, you can use your LCD TV as a computer monitor. Make sure you look up the recommended resolution for your TV and use that one, otherwise the picture will be blurry.
