Problem reading dvd

Hi All

Encountered a problem reading a dvd+r, My sister just came back from holiday in Turkey ,
while there she went on a cruise, and they got a dvd+r from the cruise company , but it willnot play in any dvd drive i have tried, tried in 3 different computers, dvd stand alones , and laptop,

every drive just does nothing, no errors thrown up , when i go into my computer and check drive to explore it just does nothing, all drives are dvd-/+rw's and i have tested all with burns all 100%, all play other dvds cds etc, even when i try it in a region free dvd player it just says no disk , after checking the dvd itself it looks like its not burnt properly, looking at disk, it has normal disk colour, then small burnt section, then normal disk colour, then large section of burnt disk,

what im hoping for is there any program or anything out that can allow me to read any part of this disk,i have tried dvd rippers, dycrpters etc, but nothing seems to work, any info or help would be greatly appreciated.
