Hide/Unhide button in Notification area

Hi,
The hide/unhide arrows on my taskbar have disappeared and I can't figure out how to get them back. I went to properties and clicked on unhide inactive icons, but I still have the same 3 showing and none of my other ones. Any advice????

Hi Tamy
right click on your clock in the task bar and select "customize notification icons"
inside the dialog box that opens check that all settings are set to what you want them to be

also, make sure that "Lock Taskbar" option is not checked. You might have moved it some way or another.
