Hello.

I'm currently building a new computer that I want to use for gaming and my work stuff.

I want to be able to play new games using my GeForce 8800GT card. When I'm not playing games I want to be able to use my Quadro 1500 for my AutoCAD/3D Viz/Rendering Stuff.

Is it possible to use these two cards in a crossfire motherboard (P35 or X38) and install these two cards in NON-SLI mode and somehow either config nview to control applications with each video card?

System:
Q6600 3.4ghz
4GB RAM
eVGA 8800GT Overclocked
PNY Quadro 1500
Motherboard (either a X38/P35 dual or more PCI-Express x16)
4-24" Dell Monitors
Tri Boot Vista 64bit/XP 64bit/XP 32bit

Applications:
GeForce Card Apps: All games and maybe MAYA and 3D Studio MAX
Quadro Card Apps: AutoCAD and VIZ

Has this been done and can it?

Thanks

matt

hi,
its possible! I have a 8800gts and a 3500 fx in my machine.
At first you must install the 8800 in your system without your quadro
install rivatuner and softmod your 8800 to a 4600fx
dont restart, only shut down
now install the quadro and boot the system
the first boot will show you a blue screen but after autorestart all will work!

i hope i could help you!
