Loading software problems

Trying to re-load Roxio Creator 10 after aC0000135 crash the system will not recognize my DVD drive with this software only, Corel paint shop X3 loaded fine, just trying to do a normal program load with the DVD discs. John Sullivan

Look for scratches or dirt on the CD. If it's dirty, wash with mild soap and warm water. If it's deeply scratched, you might be out of luck, but there are tools for removing scratches. I haven't tried any of them.
