Ok, I have built myself a computer, and it has ran perfect for almost a year. I have recently started hearing a strange noise from inside the case. Upon inspection, I have found it to be a fan thats making the racket. Ok, to my problem...I have looked at replacement fans, but I'm really not sure what I'm even looking for. It's not my CPU, Vid card, or power supply fan. Its a very small fan right below my vid card, actually on the mobo. I believe this is my chipset fan?? I am using a http://www.machspeed.com/specs/viper/MSNV-939.html. I really need to find a replacement soon before it drives me crazy, or worse goes out and burns up. Any help would be very much appreciated, and thanks for your advice ahead of time :D.

Yeah i had the same problem, the chipset fan started making the most terrible noise iv'e ever heard.
But instead of buying a new fan i looked at some passive coolers (good airflow in the case is a big plus) and found a cheap one from Zalman.

If your not afraid of tinkering with your MB look for a passive solution, every good e-tailer should have something like that.

I pulled a chipset heatsink off an old board I wasn't using, and it fit perfectly on my pci-e card.
