I've tracked down the issue as a problem being caused by the IDE/RAID drivers. I've read on numerous forums for weeks, including this forum, about or for solutions and about a certain driver that fixes it, but the links are no longer available for download.

If any of you have experienced this or know how to fix this, please let me know.
