Problem with computer starting up

Ok so I had my computer running normally and i unplugged the usb for my moniter to switch the ports and when i plugged it back in i accidently hit some button the says BIOS with a refresh button on it, i have an asus z77 motherboard. when the display came back up it was in error recovery mode so i just hit start windows normally and then it went to a bios screen and said press del to do something with the settings so i tried that but when i pressed delete it didnt do anything and it relooped to the error recovery screen and it keeps doing that if i try to start it normally. Please help!

I would start by doing a safe boot, then make a quick "system repair disc" (type that phrase into the start button run box and follow the wizard), then restart with the CD in the drive -- it should fix the problem for you.
