Difference in AA

I was just scrolling across AA settings and was gonna set my card to run in high AA for all my old games, when I cam across 8xQ and 16xQ. How is this different than regular 8x and 16x? What's the difference in quality and speed?

They say they don't see a difference, though I do @ 10x12 and certain unglossed games. Q mode seems to hitch a bit, stops when frame sync is on.

Q is like coverage sampling right? it uses multisampling and some additional things to get better picture for no performance loss. Looks ok tbh but in Crysis it ruins the picture and gives it tons of shimmering, atm I just use supersampling, cant beat that

8x multisampling is good though, use something like nhancer to activate em.

Yeah, supersampling with 8x AA ftw hatman Supersampling helps a ton.
