Howdy,

I'm planning a build, and have determined I'll be going with the C2D E4500 and overclocking it to 3.0-3.2ghz, as many other people have been able to do.

This will be my first time overclocking, and I was wondering if my Fortron Source 400W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817104953) will be sufficient, or if I'll need to buy a different power supply.

Other components:
-ATI HD 3850
-1 sata HDD
-wireless / firewire pci cards
-dvd burner

Thanks!

you should be ok with that PS, as your video card shouldnt require too much power, and you only have one HDD and one optical drive.
