$600 upgrade

A friend of mine needs me to help him upgrade some parts on his PC. He wants so upgrade his graphics card, CPU, RAM and hard drive. So far I think I'm going to tell him to get the E6750 for the processor (open to suggestions though), but I'm not sure what else to get him. He said he wants around 200 gigs of memory (more if possible, but the other parts come first) and 2 gigs of RAM but 4 would be nice if he can find it cheap. Hmm...and for graphics card I was thinking the 3870 or 8800 GT.

That's his motherboard so I guess we kind of have to work around that.

That comes to $415 which leaves 185 for the graphics card...that's probably not enough.

$600 can buy good gaming upgrades. What's his current specs?

If I remmeber correctly you can't put the 6750 on this motherboard (you chipset is 925) it doesn't support the core 2 architecture! make sure before you buy.

He can get a low cost MB with the new p35 chipset like

which are very good and not expensive...
