Hi

I was wondering if the psu is upgradeable on this machine.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883107505
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowI...Q6600(2.40GHz)+3GB+DDR2+NVIDIA+GeForce+7350LE
Its got everything good except for the graphics card and weak 350w psu.

The case is micro-atx so I thought it won't be able to fit a good normal atx psu but from some of those user reviews on newegg it seems though it can be replaced.

Is there any possiblity?

btw my friend already has this.

Thank you, The case is rather small and cramped which is why I was unsure.

I'll take note on cooling and was thinking of a 8800GT or 3870. I guess maybe 3870 as I hear they run cooler and may help in this case i guess.

Two things you'll want to keep in mind.

1) Consider getting a mid-sized case and then transferring the guts of the HP to the new housing. This would really help with cooling since there'd be more room to reorganize the cables into something other than a bunch of spaghetti.

2) Just like o1die said in his post, getting a high-end card wouldn't be a good idea since the space constraints would seem to minimize airflow and make over heating a likely possibility. Also, considering the size of the card, you may run into a problem where it hits the lower cage housing the optical drive. This would actually be a mark in favour of getting a different case.
