Hi all,

New here! Can do most things on PCs but motherboards/CPUs make my eyes cross.

I have an HP Pavillion a405n which is grumpy and slow. Celeron 2.7 GHZ 500 MB RAM Motherboard=MSI MS-6577. I think to get any kind of performance I need a Pentium 4 therefore a new motherboard/CPU.

Can anyone recommend a good motherboard for this clunker?
