Hi there,

I currently have a computer with the setup as follows:
Mobo: ASUS P5AD2-E Premium
CPU: Intel 560 3.4GHz HT
Memory: 1GB Corsair ValueRam DDR2
Video Card: X700 Pro
PSU: 480W Antec NeoPower

Now, I am on the fence here.. I can only upgrade to the fastest single core CPU, since my mobo does not support Quad/Dual CPU's

Its Native DDR2 speed is 711..

So, the question is.. should I build a new system, with 4GB of Ram, Q6600, and a 8800GT, or should I just upgrade my RAM, and perhaps my GPU to something a bit higher w/o going over my PSU's limit.. I dont believe there is much room for CPU upgrade, but I could be wrong..

3.4 is pretty much the fastest single core... think it goes up to 3.7 or something. Get a new mobo

I would probably want to upgrade the ram then too yes? I'm going to be gaming, running Episode two and things of that nature..

If I keep my processor then, upgrade the RAM to 4GB and the Graphics Card to an 8800GT, would I be sung?

The graphics card would most certainly increase your fps in games.
