D9E will be released in Feb of next year and support DX10.1 (http://www.guru3d.com/newsitem.php?id=6180). As of now, if you want DX10.1 why not go with ATI?
because it performs less than the 8800gt, and by the looks of it the 8800gts(new) even performs better than the 8800gt, and here in the UK the 3870 and the 8800GT sell for almost the same price
Actually it isnt stupid that it doesnt support DX10.1. My guess is the new 9800 series from Nvidia wich has been said to be coming in Febuary will be DX10.1. Cant wait till the actual specs for Nvidia's new high end card from the 9800 series are released.
neither can i. but i have no graphic card at the moment if u call a 8400gs a graphic card, i have been waiting to get a decent card to play oblivion ever since it came out!, but i bought an xbox360 elite last week so i will have to wait a few weeks till i get money agian. or i could sell the elite and get an 8800ultra:O
*sign* I'm lonely no one noticed that I was being sarcastic. As more than likely the next generation cards from both company are what it's meant to be DX10(.1) card.
