Microsoft Update problem 0x80072ee4

I posted a query regarding this on 13/6/05 and got a reply back from
"TaurArian" but after trying what was suggested I still get the same error
message. Once again any help would be appreciated.

The original problem was that when trying to update using Microsoft I recieve
a error message "0x80072ee4"
The information I recieved from "TaurArian" was to register certain system
files . However this did not work.

Hi Geoff, sorry it didn't work for you, perhaps it's now time to try the WU
Newsgroup. State your operating system and what you've already tried.
