READ THIS...ENOUGH SAID.

Actually, Hector Ruiz made some outrageous claim that no one seemed to call him out from.
Take this for example:
http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,2181150,00.asp
This is a damn difficult thing to do, as I'm sure you can imagine. This is the first time that any company in the world has put 600 million transistors on a chip...
Sorry Mr. Ruiz, apparently you forgot about your own ATi R600, as well as Nvidia's G80 series; both have transistors in excess of 600 million.
But what's funny is his next statement...
...and you can round that off and say it's a billion.
So 600million is 1 billion? With your logic, a student getting 60% on his/her exam, we can also round that off and say its 100%?
I wouldn't be surprised that he made such claims, as if he's shouting "hey look over here! WE'RE the one who's innovating! Not that big bad chipzilla!"
No Mr. Ruiz, Intel is being 10 times more innovative than AMD this time around. Suck it up, and start innovate!
