Should I go with Patriot Viper 2x2gig or Crucial Ballistix 2x2gig, both have 4-4-4-12 timings DDR2 800. Wondering which would be best for overclocking or if anyone has experience with either.

IMHO, Crucial Ballistix would be the better choice...

I thought the ballistix weren't as good anymore. Something about being double sided and not havening the D9 chips.

the ballistix 1066 is gd and have very very good reputation for overclock beyond 1100mhz.but im not sure about the 800mhz one though.

The Ballistix 2GB chips are high density, double sided. But according to this site, they are still using the D9 chips. I have it, but I haven't overclocked it just yet. Still getting my CPU to top levels.
