if you get a good deal and are able to get dsl i guess its ok, but i'd recommend getting cable or fiber if you can because they're more reliable.
i've had lots of problems w\ remote users at work and most of the time it comes down to them trying to connect over a slow wireless link or with slow dsl and then they wonder why their remote desktop connections fail...
i was going to put a memo out stating minimum requirements for remote access to include at least 3-7mbps cable internet connection
