BFG vs EVGA & OC/OC2 Question

I'm doing a system build, with a finish date of February and I'm pretty much sold on the 8800Gt.
Currently own a BFG 7800Gt and never a problem one from the card. While I'm not impressed with the 780i its about my only choice with PCI 2.0 and I can not justify the price vs performance of DDR3 memory. But anyways I keep seeing the 8800GT in OC and OC2 does anyone know what the diffrence between the OC and the OC2?

Wait a few weeks until the new 8800gts are realesed they are supposed perform the same if not better thatn a 8800gtx and they will cost 350 i think, so for now just wait

DX 10! get the 8800 gtx, no wait for the 8800 gts, no wait for the 8800 320 meg, no wait for the OC version, no wait for the 3000 series AMD, no wait for the 8800 gt, no wait for the new 8800 gts.. (sigh)

I hate the waiting game! Thats why November 5th I purchased an 8800GTX instead of the out of stock 8800GT 512MB, I could wait no longer.
