I'm in the process of building a custom PC. I've ordered all of the components except for the liquid cooling. I am interested in using the Exos-2.5 from Koolance but am not sure if it will (how I can make it) fit my case.

The case I have purchased is the Cosmos 1000: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] mos%2b1000

I am wondering if this unit will fit nicely on top of my case (or someplace else) or if I should look into a different cooling option. If you would recommend another direction please suggest an alternative if you can?

Here are my system specs:

Cosmos 1000 Case

Creative 70SB046A00000 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series - Retail

I want to cool the CPU and the GPU (I realize there is not a koolance block out for the GPU yet -- i'm willing to wait).

Thanks,

zoop

Due to the fact that the Exos is a mixed metal loop I recommend going with a custom built loop from a shop like DangerDen, EK, or Asetek (makers of WaterChill and Vapochill). You can built a much more powerful cooling system from them and even go so far as to darn near eliminate the possibility of galvanic corrosion.

Here are some links you can use:

Ugh, i've dug through the links above and am finding myself a bit overwhelmed. Can anyone recommend a cooling system that can fit inside my Cosmos 1000 and will do an ample job of cooling my quad CPU and eventually my 9800 gx2 (possibly 2 of them at some point).

I'm thinking I would like 1000W of cooling power but am open to suggestions.

I found this: http://www.coolermaster.com/produc [...] 52&id=3856 that would seem to fit my case but I don't know if it is beefy enough.

Looking through pages and pages of products has left me more confused than ever. I just want something that will fit inside of or on top of my case, look nice, and cool my cpu/gpu.

Anyone have a preference?

one last question here before I make my purchase: I noticed that the PA120.3 Radiator has requires 3 fans and my case only has space for 2 fans in the top where I would presumably install the radiator.

Will this choice require me to do some case modding to accomodate the third fan or will it be okay as is? I am fine with modding if I need to I just want to know what I am getting myself in for, lol!

Thanks again,

Zoop

I would recommend modding your case to take the 3rd fan as that will allow for more airflow through the radiator.
