an Sweet opportunity came to me! (Q9650\Q9450)

and I need some advice, I can get a Q9650, and the total cost to me would be $500-$600 (right now!),
or I might be (if the price is gonna be like it seems now) able to get a Q9450 for free ($50 max).. now thats some good ratio there..
now as a mobo i have the DFI INF P35-T2RL, and i'm gonna get the 8800GTS 512MB or the 8800GT (depending if the GTS will be out by around Dec 20th)
so the Q9650 might be awesome, let alone for $500 (i mean i still remember the days, not so long ago, people paid that much for the Q6600..) but is the Q9650 an over kill for me?
thoughts?

(I'm definitely gonna do come OCing on air, and maybe water)

(PSU wise i'm good.. I have a silverstone 850W)

I'd get the 9650 for OCing goodness.

I think I know where he's getting it, but I'd have to kill each one of you if I told you. I have similar options, but not that nice, so I'm pretty sure I know how he's getting those prices. My options are about 40% of retail, so he's obviously got something cookin' that I'm not aware of.

There was another person who posted this type of topic saying he's able to get a QX6850 for
less than $500.

As for the Q9650 it's QX9650 not Q9650
For desktops you get Q9300, Q9450, and Q9550.

I would say QX9650 just b/c it has a unlocked multiplier so OC'ing it is easier on temps.
