How to fix game resolution in Vista 7

Hello,
I just installed a 21.5" monitor and now the game that has round objects are streched out almost to oblong. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you!

Depends on the game but you probably need to go into the games configuration menu or ini file and change the screen resolution to one that is compatible with the new monitor (same aspect ratio) - right now it is still running in the resolution of your old monitor since it was already installed and configured so you need to reset the configuration.

Just so you know, the monitor is highly likely to be 1920x1080. So, try one of these:
1366x768
1600x900
1920x1080

Or, 16:10 ones (slightly suboptimal but still widescreen)
1650x1050
1440x900
1280x800
