Moving game data across HDs

Lets say I hava a 40GB SSD full with games and a 1TB hdd. I want to install new games on the SSD, but I dont want to delete the games saved on it. How do I transfer the game data to the hdd to free SSD space? Since the games were installed on the SSD, if I move the files, the link to the game is broken. Can I repair the installation and move the files?

Find out for each individual game how and where it saves the data. If you re-install the game, then copy the full directory over the new setup, it may work. Some games store data outside the Program Files space though, in the user's profile usually. Depends on the game.
