First Build

Planning my first build and would appreciate any feedback. This will be an all-purpose machine with some higher end gaming. As this will be my first build I don't plan to OC right off but would like the capability to be there. Below I've listed some of the qualities I'm shooting for with this build.

Relatively quiet, especially at idle
Good solid graphics at 1920x1200
Upgrade potential (plan to OC down the road)
Build Components:

Antec Designer 500 (with 500W EarthWatt PS) - plan to substitute Nexus 120mm for Tricool case fan and add 1 92mm Nexus fans
Asus P5E MB - overkill for these components but this build will change with time and this board looks to handle that well
Core 2 Duo E6750 CPU (possibly Zalman 9500)
EVGA Geforce 8800GT (no plan for SLI, hence the MB choice)
Corsair XMS2 2GB PC2-6400 DDR Memory
WD Caviar SE16 500GB HD or Samsung Spinpoint T HD400LJ
Plextor PX-716A DVD/RW (already own and works great) - looking for guidance on 2nd DVD/RW
Samsung Syncmaster 245BW LCD (already own but feel free to provide constructive feedback)

This is the same case in different colors for $10. Only 1 120mm fan mount in the back. The 120mm fan has very high cfm with a L/M/H switch. The top & side panels have polycarbonate material to deaden sounds.

Just throw in a Corsair 450W & you're set. Or look for a deal on a brand name 500-600W psu.

I would wait until next week when the new 512MB 8800GTS is out. About 300-350 bucks. 2nd to Ultra. How much is Ultra? See for yourself.
