:pt1cable: so im a little confused here....

I want to upgrade my eVga 680i SLI A1 mobo to the new 780i SLI model but i dont know if i can transfer my raid config over. It probably uses the same raid controller so i should be ok as long as i know which drive is 1, 2, 3, and 4....right?

one more thing....am i going to need to do a repair install of xp too? or just a reactivation?

No matter what anyone tells you, PERFORM A FULL BACKUP FIRST, and VERIFY THAT BACKUP. Seriously.

It all depends on the raid controller on the MB. Some raid controllers store the config in the card only. Some store it and place a config file on the HD's so if they are moved the config can be imported back. Check with the motherboard maker if you can before you do this otherwise you can lose all your data.
