Hey guys. I hear that for my dual core E6600 the voltage should be set to 1.34volts or something like that. Mine is currently at bios default of 1.184.

Should I increase it? I haven't noticed any problems with it.

Will I get any increase in performance if I increase voltage?

Could I possibly damage it if I increase to 1.34 volts?

Leave it alone.

The voltage will fluctuate especially if you are using SpeedStep which slows down the CPU when it is not being stressed.

run a burn in test use prime 95 for two hours, if it pass without any problem or error, then everything is good
for the last two questions, the answer is no and no
cpu performance is base on the cpu speed, not the voltage
you will not damage the cpu even you put 1.6v.

You want the lowest Vcore you can get without errors. Lower voltage = less heat.
