I just bought a 10pack of these and tried burning a data disc using Nero Express 8 today. As it started a got error saying something like unable to start burn?? My LG drive has the firmware updated, so I'm a bit lost onto why. Any ideas people? :fou:

Are you sure your drive supports burning to DL discs? Also there's a dif. between the + and - versions. If your drive does support it, check nero's settings or get another burning app

hi matey, i just checked the info on my drive, and it does both + and -, so I don't know. I'll double check Nero or just use another app possibly.

I have seen some drives be picky about media too. Have you tried a different brand?
