With OS 7 looming closer and the 64 bit revelation around the corner do you Tech savvy folks think the end of 32 bit OS will soon be dead ?
Or will we be relegated to out dated software indefinitely?
Please post what OS systems you use and why it’s the best for you.

What do you mean "looming closer?" Like how long? :sarcastic:

Anyway, I use Vista 64bit. 4gb ram might be okay with 32bit, but 8gb is too much to waste. XP 64bit has driver problems. I play a lot of games, so have to stick with Windows, despite its many issues. So basically, that's it.

32-bit OS will not be dead for a long time. I based this on the fact that Windows XP 32-bit will be sold until 2010, which further means you'll still see them being sold until 2012. While more and more people are using Vista, most of the pc users are still using XP.

my thought would be the windows 7 will take a long time for it to become widely used.as its a brand new OS its going to have many problems just like Vista when it launch.people only install vista after the PS1 is out which make things much more stable and run faster.and how long did that take?over a year.so what i will do is sit back and watch ho wthings change.
