my acer laptop gets so far on loading then stops i never got a recovery disc ffrom new wot can i do

Acer laptops should come with a recovery partition allowing you to return the computer to it's factory condition. Have a look at your handbook. But be aware that this will overwrite any data you have stored on the laptop, and uou will need to reinstall any applictions.
