Did a quick search but couldn't find the answer I was looking for...

I recently bought a NexStar CX external 2.5" encloser (USB interface) with a Seagate 250gb Momentus HD. The little blue led comes on and I can hear the windows sound when I plug it into a USB port but I cannot see the HD. I've tried it on 3 different computers.

Any ideas?

Assign a letter to it. Go to Administrative Tools->Computer management->Disk management.

You may need to partition and format it. That is all done in the Disk Management tool described by evongugg.
