I need some advice on RAM selection.

System
Q6600 @ 3.6 (working on 3.8+) Air
Foxconn x38a
2 x 3870x2
Vista 64

I purchased some 4GB (2x2) Adata DDR2 800 when I built this system, but after reading up on the ram it seems it doesn't overlock very well. So I purchased a set of 4GB (2x2) G.Skill DDR2 1000 to further increase my potential overclock. Only problem is that the G.Skill set is horrid. It seems to be low bin chips with really lax sub timmings especially tRC. For example I lose 5000 in 3dmark06 (20000 to 15000) when using it. I know I could lower the tRC timings manually but it isn't cooperating very well for me and I'm honestly disappointed in it the G.Sill kit. I also believe the G.Skill kit was hindering my OC attempts by just being awfull ram as it won't even do 1000mhz at (400fsb 1:2.25), much less 880 - 900 (1:2). After switching back to the Adata ram I was able to boot and start testing at 3.8Ghz; which I couldn't do with the G.Skill ram. Anyway to my point; I need some advice as I don't want another set of low end or garbage ram.

The sets of ram I've been looking at are:

OCZ ReaperX HPC 4GB(2 x 2GB)

CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 4GB(2 x 2GB)

Patriot Viper 4GB(2 x 2GB)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220293

Obviously I'm interested in these for gaming so anyone know which are fastest in terms of tRC? As I've come to realize tRC and sub timings play a huge part in which will be fastest. In terms overclocking I'll probably only be running between 400-445 FSB so being able to keep the same tight timings/subtimings as the speed increases is also important to me.

My motherboard has support for both DDR2 as well as DDR3, but I want to keep 4GB of ram and the price is still a bit much for the 4GB DDR3 kits.
