i have just bought a core 2 duo and when i open the box i touched the thermal pad and i was wondering if it would be safe to install

yes itll be fine... youd wanna rub a considerable amount of paste off before you had issues

um i got it from my friend's rig he just got a 1600 so i said ill buy that one from ya so i got a killer psu now
