The quad 750 is 7.1" accoding to the spec sheet. No idea how much room i have in the case though since I didn't order it yet.

I have the same case. I have a 140mm fan on the bottom, side panel, 2 on the top as blow holes and custom mounted one in the drive bays above the led 120mm. Also a 120mm in the back and a 80mm under the mb tray.

and they all are quiet

He'd mount it at the holes that are on the bottom that are made to take another fan.

Edit: 140mm Fans will mount on the 2 side and 2 top. You can get them from Petra's.

the above is what I got. I got em for 5.99. At the time of my purchase, they didnt have the lower CFM/lower DBa fans either.

But its nearly quiet to me even tho I have 5x140mm, 2x120mm and 1x80mm fans going. Just a sound like some wind.

Here is a pic of the bottom fan placement

Here is a pic of the mod I made for the 140mm fan in the drive bays. If i ever need more drive bay space, I can remove it. I like it there cause it blows directly accross my memory to my heatsink fan

LOL, yes its excessive. But the price break came at 5 fans. Plus with the Ultra 120 extreme, I couldnt use the 2nd spot for the 140mm fan on the side panel, so I a fan sitting around. Bothered me.........

The other case mod I made is I cut out the grill work on the side panel. With the fan it made a funny wind sound. It was quite loud. I cant find decent 140mm grill covers though, so its a big open window.

I am way OC'ed for my little chip, but my idle temp is 31-33c and full load temp is 39-41c.

Thinking about OC;ing even more

Lol, nice.. I've found my max with my TRUE to be 3.8 GHz on my Quad.

Yes I finally saw it in person over at Fry's. Still seems to be a somewhat idiotic place to mount a fan since hot air rises. Must be the same guy that invented the side panel cone. Makes a heck of an amplifier for the internal fans.

That bottom vent is not for a fan. You are actualy supposed to put your PSU in upside down in most cases that style. That case just offers upside right installation for some of the older style PSU that are usualy not modular and mounting them upside down leaves them unable to cool properly. Most of them have single rear exuast fans and a crappy vent on the bottom.

If hot air rises, wouldn't hot air be in the top of the case? Wouldn't it be better to pull cool air from the bottom of the case? Just like most if not all cases that pull cool air from the bottom front.

You don't mount your PSU upside down in this case. It has a vent under the PSU to allow cooler air to be drawn in for it. The other vent is for a fan. That bracket is built for a fan, even has a dust filter.

Antec 900 is all fine and good, but personally I think it's too flashy. The second link is a good one though. Also the 900 doesn't let you mod it very much.. I like my CM690 because I can easily cut it to pieces.

Jersey, you really dont know what your talking about. At least look at the pictures.

There is a place to mount the psu so it draw in cool air AND a 140mm fan. I did look at the 900 and I think they are ugly. I wouldnt own one. I found myself trying to convince myself to buy one, saying to myself that looks didnt matter to me. Well they do, and its one ugly case.

With the 5x140mm fans in am into the case for 99.94 after shipping.

The purpose of the bottom fan is to push in cold air from the bottom to eliminate dead air zones. The front fan blows on the HD's, but of course the air get obstructed. The bottom fan pushed the air up toward the exit fans at the top.

I find the case to be superior to the 900 in terms of looks and the ability to mod it. To each his own.

For your education, here is the bottom of the case without the PSU mounted. To the right of the picture is where the PSU goes, I already have the 140mm fan mounted to blow in fresh air
