Hi all.
I want to control my 4 case fans through bios.
Id like to be able to disable 2 of them and make them turn on only beyond a specific temp A.

I tried by setting the LOWER setting at temp A.
Unfortunatelly, even when the temp is lower than A, the fans are always on.
Any ideas?Cant you make the fans stop completely?
Thank you

Not afaik.
You can adjust the upper & lower temps & voltage for the fan headers within reasonabe limits all of which affect how the rpms scale.
If you have decent fans they will be virtually inaudible at idle temps (my gfx cards have the noisiest fans in all of my systems).

It seems the lowest i can get is 8 Volts.Of course max is 12V
Thats quite a lot :(
It would be nice to have the 2 fans completely off and give them voltage when i was playing games (high cpu temp)

Find a fan controller that you can shut off the fans. Zalman has the ZM-MFC1 that permit you to stop the fan, run it at 5V or 12V with switches or 4 button toadjust the speed within a certain range.

you can get down to 6V on certain headers using the uGuru Windows GUI.

suppose you re talking about software coming with the mobo cd?
Generally it is very weird i cant control fan voltage. Why on earth set the lowest value on 8 Volts???
