alright. here is the question, how can i control the fan speed of my processor? changing the bios settings in smart fan. didnt allow me to control the speed using fanspeed 4.34

im using zalman cnps9700 NT

i have the same mobo + heatsink/fan combo..

as far as i know disabling the SMART FAN in BIOS forces your fan to run 100% @ 2800RPM, leaving it enabled will trigger fan speed to run only when it needs to .. ie. 0-700 rpm @ idle.. 1700rpm - 2200rpm @ full load.. although i never seen the fan run @ 100% full 2900 rpm even with prime95.. but disabling it will allow you to reach full 100% capacity

with Smart fan enabled. at load it reached 2400rpm. which i can say was alright.
with it disabled, yeah, it ran at 100%. with 2800rpm.

my case is, i want to control it manually from windows it self. i used to use speed fan. now it wont work with this mobo. so who knows what can i do?
