There is sound from my laptop speakers but i cant hear anything when i am using

Hello,
I have sound on my laptop working perfectly and i can play music and hear sound on the laptop but when recording Audio i can hear anything. I can also hear other party when making internet call but other party can't hear me.
I have try fixed everything i know and have read on forums but seems the problem is from my laptop.
Does anyone know how to fix this because i stay on internet call 13 hours in a day.

Check your audio settings make sure your mic or input jack is not muted.

Did this always happen? If it just started, could be a wire loose.

The drivers for sound are installed in my laptop acer but I don't hear any think when I play music.....
