Hi guys....

I built a system with the following components and wanna get some tips on how and what would be the best(and safest) overclocking i can do on them...

i doubt you going to get much overclock out of that processor.because its using the older 90nm fab.so the heat output is enormous.and since its clock at very high speed already.as you may come across it before,AMD's processor is known to be a poor overclocker.the highest i have seen is 3.4ghz on the 6400BE.

Overclocking on an AMD processor is different from an Intel.
Search the Internet for guides on how to overclock an AMD processor.

where did you copy that from?the thing you said is seen on a Intel platform OC.but this guy is on a AMD try to get help.i think you should read the OP again before giving any helping.

Don't you just set the speed you want it at, tweaking the voltage and timings until it's stable?

Well when i choose manual in the bios, all it gives me on this MB is the max of 800, when the board says i can handle upto 1066...
so i really dunno...

You might need a bios update for that speed.

have you change the multiplier already?up the FSb to 1600 or 400 and see what you can set for ram.
